Lizzie Marie has been experimenting over the past couple of years trying to create the ulimate brownie recipe. This year's creation far surpasses last year's recipe. The marriage of espresso and chocolate is a perfect pair.

Ingredients:

 

1 1/2 cups Sugar

1 cup Brown sugar, firmly packed

4 Eggs

1 stick + 6 tablespoons Unsalted butter, room temperature

1 teaspoon Vanilla

1 cup All-purpose flour

3/4 cup Cocoa

2 teaspoons Ground Espresso coffee

1 pinch Salt

Directions:

 

Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Spray a 10 x 16-inch baking pan with no-stick spray.

 

Blend together sugars, butter, eggs and vanilla until creamy. Add flour, cocoa, coffee and salt to sugar mixture. Pour battered into pan. Bake about 1 hour until a sharp knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
